Google Adsense setup

I signed up with the Google Adsense program today. It is a relatively easy thing to do and a fairly generic process. You must have a website already in order to establish an account with them. After you go through an email verification process you will then wait a day or two at the most for Google to examine your website and see if it meets their approval before your account is opened.
How much can you expect to earn from Google Adsense? Well, not much at first if you are putting it on a newly built website without established traffic. There is a decent analysis of Adsense income projection here at associateprograms.com
John Chow has some essential tips on Adsense ad size and placement for a Wordpress blog to get the best results. He says that the 300×250 inline box works best.
I just got my Adsense account activation notice in the email(same day service) and I’ll have that Adsense block in here once I add some Wordpress plugins.
